Job Title: Pre-School Teacher Assistant - Oak Ridge Campus
Reports To: Pre-School Director
Time Status: Part Time (Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
JOB SUMMARY
The Pre-School Teacher Assistant will reflect high professional standards, integrity, and a commitment to excellence within a Christian Pre-School environment. The Pre-School Teacher Assistant selected for this position should have prior experience working with young children and assisting in a classroom setting.
SPIRITUAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professing believer in Jesus Christ with a strong Christian faith and lifestyle
- Ability to articulate and integrate a biblical worldview in all aspects of teaching
- Affirm and communicate doctrine consistent with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 revision, and The Nashville Statement - linked below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Required to work under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher.
- Assist with activities and classroom management.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the students.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the student's family, allowing the teacher to address concerns with parents.
- Establish a professional level of rapport with each family.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
