                                                       Vocal Instructor Job Description

Title: Vocal Instructor 

Time Status: Part-Time 

Classification: Contractor/1099 

Reports to: Director of GPAC 

 

Summary: 

The Vocal Instructor for Grace Performing Arts Center will provide vocal lessons while fostering a Christ-centered and engaging learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·        Provide voice lessons to students, focusing on technique, vocal health, and performance skills. 

·        Create personalized lesson plans tailored to students' goals, skill levels, and interests.  

·        Teach proper breathing techniques, diction, tone production, and stage presence. 

·        Maintain a professional, Christ-honoring, and encouraging rapport with students and their families. 

·        Track student progress and provide regular feedback. 

Qualifications: 

·       Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and have a lifestyle that demonstrates obedience. 

·       Committed to the core values of the church. 

·       Strong understanding of vocal techniques across various styles. 

·       Proven experience as a voice instructor or vocal coach. 

·       Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels. 

·       A positive attitude at all times and poise under pressure. 

·       High attention to detail and accuracy with complete follow-through. 

·       Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 

·       Excellent organizational skills.
